Pollocracy as an industry ??

I should tell you a true story about pollocracy.

some years after I coined this term in a letter to the editor, I brought it out of the closet and showed it to a friend.
He was so enthusiastic about this term which was new to him , that it encouraged me to contact the Merriam-Webster dictionary.
I mailed a copy of that letter (just as it appears in the www.pollocracy.com site), so that they would add it to their dictionary.
They replied that it was an interesting term, but their policy was to wait for a word to be used first.

I really was amazed at that policy, but later on I came to think that because I had suggested in the letter that people should just not answer the pollsters, that meant the destruction of an industry that had been created.
I will go and find that letter so I can put it here and on my www.pollocracy.com site.
WELL, IF ANYONE GOES TO GOOGLE "POLLOCRACY" , YOU WILL SEE MANY PEOPLE HAVING USED THAT WORD IN ARTICLES OR SPEECHES.

so, I hope that merriam-webster is now ready to enter POLLOCRACY in their dictionary.
