are POLL numbers GOSPEL truth???

Tom Brokaw managed to sneek in at the very last moment of MEET THE PRESS this morning a POLL number as if that Number was the GOSPEL truth.
Mr. Brokaw said:...........on the question of Commander in chief the poll is 53 McCain 42 Obama

AS IF THAT MEANT THAT OBAMA WAS NOT READY TO BE COMMANDER IN CHIEF.!!
WELL . Dear Mr. Brokaw allow me to tell you that the QUESTION itself is so SCHEWED in favor of McCAIN ........that it really does not mean anything , and certainly not that OBAMA is not capable of being a good Commander in Chief.
IT IS OBVIOUS that McCain the man who comes from a military family and having been a fighter pilot and been POW for 5 years and tortured? nobody could say he was less qualified, just because of his military resume.

But OBAMA has shown he has a BETTER JUDEGEMENT and TEMPERAMENT during these past years even though he does not have a military resume.

so Mr Brokaw should learn how to interpret polling results and pay attention to the poll question, and the way it is phrased or the matter at hand, before he tries to make it a self-fulfilling prophecy by repeating it in the final moment of his show.

This is how I would have answered.

If a military resume is the criterion for C. in CHIEF well any child would tell youMcCain
But if Judgement and temparament and motivation are the criterion, then it is OBVIOUSLY OBAMA

OBAMA WON

I hated the way McCain KEPT SAYING I KNOW I KNOW

and how McCAIN kept saying to OBAMA : YOU DO not understand or even worse HE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND.
McCain was patronizing , condescending , mean to distort Obama's positions or words or votes.

OBAMA ACKNOWLEDGED EVERYTIME McCAIN said SOMETHING RIGHT.
Obama is decent person.......

WELL well, Did you notice in the past 13 days how POLL numbers for McCain have gone up, creating a good MORALE for them and creating WORRIES for the McCain camp???

well, this is how Poll NUMBERS become Gospel and SELF-FULFILLING PROPHECY.
YES, BY CREATING A TREND A SURGE FOR ONE PARTY OVER THE OTHER.

SO, BE AWARE AND BEWARE .

JUST go out and VOTE. As President Reagan asked :
IF you are better off than 4 or 8 years ago.......................go and vote for another term of Republican Rule.
If not, Think of yourself first . Didn't Reagan say GREED IS GOOD ???

There is a question that has come up in my mind after the Republican Convention.
The answer to that question is quite clear for me...............
However I dare not ask it lest it unleashes BAD FEELINGS................and doubts.
You see , I am a pollster with conscience, not a pollocrat with a definite political agenda.
You remember the way the pollocrats asked :
WHO IS RISKIER ? McCain or OBAMA
the answer was so OBVIOUS ...................what they wanted was actually STARTING A TREND ABOUT OBAMA being RISKY .
actually they were telling you WHAT to think or HOW to think about OBAMA.

so, Since this blog of mine seems not to be read by anyone, I thought I should just mention that I HAVE A VERY BAD QUESTION IN MIND...............BUT WILL NOT EVEN pause it here for fear of starting a wave of anger and prejudice.

that question could tilt the election and I will not mention it now ...............if anything huge happens I may do so before the election. if not I will disclose it here after the election results.
